Bella
Bella was a sanctuary dog for many years. She'd always been independent but was content to just lounge around at her foster home and enjoy the comfy life. Bella has gone through a great deal of aging and had reached the point where she made it clear she was ready to go across the rainbow bridge. She passed peacefully and is on the other side. Run free, Bella, know that you are missed...❤️

DJ
DJ has been a sanctuary dog for many years. He was the sweetest little Chiweenie boy we've ever had the privilege to care for. He shared much love with us- he is loved and will be missed...❤️

Maya and BJ
April 20, 2024- In Memory of Maya & BJ:: Maya (the Dachshund on the left) was adopted from us by a loving family in 2019, and BJ, was her best friend. Sadly, both passed from unrelated medical issues within 6 hours of each other on April 20th. Our hearts go out to the family for this loss. May they run free together and know they are loved and missed...

Larry Clyde

August 22, 2023- Larry Clyde came to us in early 2019. He was in his teens, and in bad shape; His back was scarred from an unknown previous injury, his teeth and mouth were in terrible condition, and he was so obese it was a problem for his heart.
Thanks to some excellent vet work, lots of TLC from his foster family, and a strong will to survive, Larry Clyde made it through a dental procedure. He began what would become a daily heart medication routine that he would need for his remaining time with us.
Larry Clyde appreciated his foster family, and felt good for what was probably the first time in years,
Recently Larry Clyde's health began to decline, but he was happy to just spend his time relaxing in his favorite bed or next to his foster family. They will miss him, but wanted to share that Larry Clyde passed away peacefully in his sleep and is now across the Rainbow Bridge.  Run free, Larry Clyde, you are loved and missed...❤️
