Thumper is a good girl who is used to being the only dog. She is okey with another Dachshund as long as she doesn't feel frightened, but Thumper does not do well in a multi-dog environment. Thumper came to us with heartworm, which we are getting treated the first week of October. After a recovery period of restricted activity Thumper will be available for adoption. She should be fine on a long-term basis once the treatment has been completed. Meanwhile, Thumper is very good with people and is patiently awaiting a home. Thumper is a sweet girl who deserves a good home and a chance a the greata life she was meant to have!
