Cookie is a sweet little mini-Dachshund who does best with no children, gentle and patient adults, and plenty of people-time. She is active and is comfy with another small dog as a companion. Cookie has a good start on house training, but can be skittish. She needs a secure home as well as a person who has ample time to spend with her. She has some separation anxiety.

As a curious puppy (as are most young Dachshunds), Cookie will need plenty of patient reinforcement and positive activity to continue to grow into the wonderful dog she is meant to be.

An approved adopter will need experience raising Dachshunds. A secure home setting is a must, especially with such a small puppy! As is the case with pups, we do not make exceptions to these requirements.
