Annabelle and Lucy are a bonded pair of sweet senior ladies who need to be adopted together. Both are heart worm negative, current on all vaccines and veterinary care including recent dental, microchipped, and have great manners. Annabelle even had a surgical procedure to correct a minor problem that made her eyelashes grow inward and irritate her eyes- she's all better now! The girls are nice pets and do well with gentle people, preferably adults. Lucy is the more active of the two although both will play and are still very alert and active. Annabelle is very small (about 8 pounds) and Lucy is a mini at just under 14 pounds. A securely fenced yard is a must due to their small size and curiosity to explore. They do okay around most dogs but prefer to be the only two, and they are definitely bonded after a lifetime together, so they need to stay a pair. The nice thing about a pair of small, sweet, healthy seniors is that they're actually easier to care for than one dog- they keep each other company when their humans are busy but still love to cuddle with people when they get the opportunity! The pair came to us when their previous owner had circumstances that made it impossible to keep them, so we want to be sure the household that adopts them will truly be their forever home!
