Dakota is a good looking  standard boy who has a lot of energy but came to us with some neurological deficits that affect behavior and make him unsuitable for adoption. He has visual difficulty and often becomes confused about who he sees, and occasionally mistakes scents and misidentifies people. That level of confusion makes him uncomfortable so Dakota has a hard time regularly relaxing and feeling secure. He is used to his foster home and family, so he is best served as a sanctuary dog who can enjoy his life in comfort.
