Gerald is a spunky senior who's been under the care of DLT for several years now. He was abandoned by his family at a local shelter with a heavy case of heartworms and a heart murmur. He had several BB pellets under his skin which left him very reactive to sudden noises. Gerald has had several health issues over the years and we've addressed them all to give him the best care available. He was one of the first dogs in Texas to survive a deadly autoimmune disorder called IMHA using stem cell treatment.

He currently takes medication for intervertebral disease and is also prone to urinary tract issues. We believe Gerald is at least 16 years old, but he's still a young dog at heart! He still runs in the yard and has good energy for an older gentleman! We want to keep Gerald as healthy & happy as we can and donations and sponsorships help us to do just that.
