Penny Lou is an absolutely precious, cute little lady! She has good manners around the house, and she's very sweet, but she does prefer a calm environment. Penny's just a bit skittish at first and it takes her time to get to a comfort level. Once she does, Penny Lou is a fantastic cuddler! We have only had Penny Lou a short time and we are still finishing up the vetting process- we want to be sure we get her dental cleaning taken care of and confirm good blood work and current vaccinations, but we don't expect any surprises so she should be ready within a week or two at most.

Penny's previous owne  recenlty moved to a muiti-family rental community, and Penny didn't adapt well to that environment. Because Penny is sweet but small and gentle we are seeking a calm home, a secure yard, supervised outdoor time only, and we have a strong prefence for someone who is home a lot. It may just be due to the rehoming process, but Penny does seem to have some mild separation anxiety.

Penny's foster home has someone there most of the time and she is doing well with that situation. She is also doing well with house training. Penny is okay with other dogs, but is equally comfortable being the only pet, provided she gets the attention you would expect to give a cute, sweet little lady like herThis lovely little one deserves a wonderful furever home!
