AVAILABLE SOON: Knox was one of two Dachshunds who were literally dumped by the side of the road. Their rescuer had just enough time to see the car drive away and make sure the boys were okay. The photos were taken at the time so they are not exactly studio quality, but they do show how long and low the boys are. Knox's eyes don't really look that bright in real life... As you can see, Knox is a very loving young man. Unfortunately, Knox has tested positive for heartworm. He will need treatment and recovery time before he is available for adoption. Because he is young and otherwise healthy Knox should have no long-term problems from the heartworm. Any dog this loving after all he has been through from his former "owner" is obviously a great pet and is meant to have an owner who will love and appreciate him!
