Katie is a wonderful young lady who has a great smile and a positive attitude now that she is out of the kennel and has room to play! Katie's previous owner had to go to a nursing home where she couldn't keep her dogs. The family was unable to take care of them, so Katie and her doggie friends were taken to their lifelong vet to be either re-homed or euthanized. Fortunately for Katie, the folks at the clinic were not about to see these dogs put to sleep. They kept them boarded at their own expense until they could find rescue and hope of a new home. Katie has adapted to a month of mostly kennel time, and has been a good sport through all of it, but she is sure enjoying her foster home and room to run around unleashed. Whether it's galloping through the house or romping around the back yard, Katie is just as happy as can be.
