Laney is cute but very challenging. Laney is a first-class escape artist; her former owner had to leash walk her even in the back yard because she is fast, bold, and can fit through places even a small rodent would have trouble squeezing through!

Laney likes human attention, but does so on her terms. She is not usually quick to come when called. Also, she is predatory with small animals and is definitely vicious with small goats, chickens, or other small animals.

She can be very loving, but her behavior is why she was surrendered to us (as was her frequent escaping) and also why she was returned after adoption. She is in a foster home that is incredibly secure, and is happy, harmless, and safe there. We would need to think long and hard on whether it's a good idea to try once again for a new home...
