Marvin is a character- he's a sturdy little old Dachshund who is strong-willed, loves to cuddle on his terms and will follow you all over, and likes to bark when he wants attention. Marvin is mostly house trained, is selectively deaf (only hears when and what he wants to), and gets along reasonably well with other small, non-aggressive doggies. Marvin did some stray time before he came to us super-skinny, but he's gotten stronger and grown some thicker fur, as well as feeling much more energetic these days. He was neutered as part of his vet care, and he is modeling his "collar of shame" in one of his photos, but he's over that now. He's also had major dental work, so his mouth is healthy too! Marvin is your basic companion pet who acts like he has a lot of life left in him. He appreciates human attention (gentle, and preferably adult), likes his meals and his visits to the yard for restroom duty and squirrel/bird prevention, and naps when he so desires...  Basically, Marvin is a great pet for the person who appreciates a loving senior with a lot of personality!
