Willard, better known as Willie, is a very sweet and active gentleman. He is cute, lovable, and generally laid back about meeting other dogs and new people. Willie recently had some major dental extractions but is healing nicely and will feel much better now that his mouth is in good shape. He is very healthy, current on all vetting, and has good manners. We were told that Willie had some house training problems at his previous home, but he's had no problems in his foster home and even alerts his foster family when he needs to go outside to use the restroom. Willie will need a secure yard since he prefers exploring to leash-walking, and like most Dachshunds he needs supervision during outdoor time. He doesn't bark much, likes people-beds and furniture, and is a real loving boy. He appreciates human interaction even if it's just naps next to his humans, so ideally he should be in a home where someone has plenty of time with him. This good looking little love is ready for a fantastic forever home!
