Darby is a cute young long-haired Dachshund mix. He's active, incredibly sweet, and is quite the cuddler. Darby did some stray time before he came to us through a shelter, so he will definitely need a securely fenced yard, and given his young age a puppy-proof environment will be helpful. Also, he needs to be in a home where his humans have enough time to work with him and help him to continue to grow into the wonderful dog he's meant to be. Darby gets along with most small dogs, although he sometimes tends to be a bit alpha, and he is learning house training quickly now that we've had him neutered. Darby's look is unique and cute, his temperament is good, and he's young enough to be easily trainable. This youngster is a great pet just waiting for the perfect home!
